Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer to develop advanced technologies for private cellular solutions, empowering global technology leaders to bring their most ambitious applications to life.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of programming experience with Python, Golang or related programming languages
  • Proficiency in shell (e.g. bash) scripting
  • Good understanding of virtualization (VMs, hypervisor, Software Defined Network)
  • Good understanding of Containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and common platform tools including Kafka, SQL, Prometheus, Redis, PostgresDB/MongoDB.
  • Good understanding of networking protocols, standards, and technologies including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPSec, network Namespaces, routing and switching.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on Development: Assist in building and maintaining modules of the AIOps platform under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Data and Monitoring Support: Contribute to collecting, cleaning, and transforming monitoring data (logs, events, metrics) for analysis.
  • Automation Support: Help in developing scripts and small automation tasks that reduce repetitive operational workload.
  • Incident Response Participation: Support incident analysis by providing data insights and participating in root cause investigations.
  • Collaboration and Learning: Work closely with mid-level and senior engineers, actively participating in code reviews, design sessions, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Continuous Growth: Develop technical skills in observability tools, cloud environments, and ML/AI concepts relevant to AIOps.
  • Quality Focus: Ensure accuracy, reliability, and maintainability of code and configurations with mentorship from senior staff

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, Data Science, or related field
  • Adaptability to dynamic and fast paced environments, proactive learner.
