Jaan Health is seeking a Software Engineer to build an AI-driven platform that transforms healthcare for patients and providers, addressing challenges in cost and profitability while improving patient outcomes through proactive care management.
Requirements
- Strong fundamentals in web application development, databases, and problem-solving
- Some experience (academic, internship, or personal) with full-stack projects
- You already use tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar to move faster, debug better, and learn quickly.
Responsibilities
- Work full-stack with Ruby on Rails, Python, SQL, JS/Vue/React, and modern web tooling
- Build and refine features that go from prototype, launch and iteration
- Collaborate with senior engineers and tech leads, receiving feedback and mentorship
- Use AI tools to speed up development, testing, and learning
- Write clean, maintainable code and improve quality over time
- Help maintain and enhance our AI-powered care management platform

- Degree in Computer Science or related fields
- Clear communicator who asks thoughtful questions
