Independence Pet Holdings is building a digital-first pet e-commerce platform (PetPlace) that connects key market services such as adoption, lost pet, and insurance, making pet care more accessible and streamlined. They are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to build new digital products and enhance their existing e-commerce platform.
Requirements
- Proficiency in React, Node.js, and back-end frameworks (e.g., Express).
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.
- Experience with Agile and Scaled Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and modifies existing software as well as design, construct, and test end-user applications.
- Participates in full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis and design.
- Writes technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
- Supports, maintains, and documents software functionality.
- Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revise programs, as needed.
- Participates in reviews to ensure the code is high quality based on reliability, efficiency, security, maintainability, and size.
- Participates in agile ceremonies.

- 3 year’s relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
- Associate’s Degree in a Technical Field
- Certification in relevant focus area
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
