Requirements
- A “Product Engineering” mindset
- Pragmatism and a focus on simplicity, efficiency, and performance
- Significant experience in similar roles building technically complex products in any web programming language
- Expert-level skills in server-side, client-side, or full stack development (your final position in the team will reflect your strengths, and internal training will be provided)
- Strong commitment to quality and testing
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks
- Experience using AI coding tools during development, such as Copilot, Cline, or similar
- Experience building AI-powered product features using AWS, GCP, or OpenAI platforms
Responsibilities
- Develop product features in Python/Django and/or React for a travel-related, web-based platform
- Build and maintain integrations between our product and third-party APIs
- Contribute to system architecture design, implementation, and testing
- Work within an Agile environment with a strong focus on well-documented code, unit testing, and continuous integration
- Mentor, coach, and train colleagues as a domain expert where applicable
