Requirements
- Proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Ability to leverage AI tools to drive innovation and efficiency (e.g., performance modeling and analysis, research gathering, day to day task automation)
- Evaluate agentic solutions with measurable metrics and human-in-the-loop safeguards following Microsoft Responsible AI requirements for generative AI
- Experience with cloud infrastructure for quantum computing
- Experience with SDKs, UX, APIs for quantum computing
- Experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure for quantum computing
- Experience with software engineering and LLMs to build the next generation of experiences and software geared toward quantum algorithm developers, quantum error correction researchers, and quantum scientists
Responsibilities
- Writes and maintains code for Quantum software and infrastructure to ensure seamless end to end execution, debugging, and analysis of quantum programs.
- With guidance, learns to create and implement code for a product, service, or feature reusing code as applicable.
- Learns about, shares new ideas, and leverages software developer tools to create, debug, and maintain code for features.
- Learns to review code and helps to review code of others to ensure it meets the team's and Microsoft's quality standards.
- Contributes in partnership with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project manager, technical lead) to determine user requirements for a feature.
- Learns about and contributes to operations of live service as issues arise on a rotational, on-call basis.
- Identifies solutions and mitigations to simple issues impacting performance or functionality of Live Site services and escalates as necessary.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline
