Bio-Techne is looking to expand the capability of their instrument and enterprise systems by developing award-winning bio-tech instruments for the life sciences industry, enabling cutting-edge research in Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience developing commercial or enterprise software.
- Proficient in C-Sharp and the .NET framework.
- Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS).
- Familiarity with software design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM).
- Solid data analysis skills.
- Experience with web technologies: ASP.NET, Entity Framework, SQL, NoSQL, Blazor, Microservices, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with desktop applications: WinForms, WPF, .NET MAUI.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle: planning, design, coding, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies.
- Design and implement efficient, reliable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within organization to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Expand the capability of our instrument and enterprise systems.
- Develop analytical applications, enterprise business applications, working on design of graphical data presentations, algorithms, device communications, and complex data workflows.
- Collaborate with other software engineers and scientists.
- Work with state-of-the-art software/hardware technologies.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- 2+ days per week onsite at Wallingford, CT site.
