Oceaneering Technologies (OTECH) is seeking to develop, manufacture, and operate customized marine systems for U.S. military vessels, requiring a Project Software Engineer to lead software efforts on unique projects.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more programming languages: React, C, C++, or C-Sharp.
- Practical experience in software engineering.
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
Responsibilities
- Apply working knowledge of software lifecycle to develop and lead software efforts.
- Implement decisions for designing and maintaining software architecture.
- Interface with other engineering leads, program managers, and external customers.
- Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and acceptance of project CDRLs, including requirements management and software documentation.
- Support software testing on the factory floor, offsite, and offshore.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and shared expertise.
Other
- Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Government Department of Defense Security Clearance.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Solid written and oral communication skills for documenting and presenting engineering concepts.
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- 5+ years of practical experience in software engineering.
