Pattern is looking to solve the problem of accelerating brands on global ecommerce marketplaces by leveraging proprietary technology and AI to optimize and automate all levers of ecommerce growth for global brands.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in a modern backend language like Ruby, Node.js, Java, Python, or Go.
- SQL expertise is a must, with experience in databases like PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Ruby on Rails is a plus but not required.
- Experience working in AWS is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience is preferable, though we are interested in top-tier new grads as well
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain foundational components of our 'Shelf' platform, an internal system that manages all aspects of warehouse inventory and fulfillment.
- Work with a team of front end and back end engineers and operational leaders to understand and build solutions for new projects.
- Dedicate time to 'hardening' the software, proactively fixing root causes of recurring issues during your on-call rotation.
- Tackle a wide range of backend challenges to maintain and improve the system's scalability and stability.
- Collaborate across functions to ensure maximum value.
- Consider the entire product lifecycle.
- Ensure our solutions resonate with business needs.
