Moloco is looking to hire a senior software engineer to help design, develop, expand, and maintain the ad serving engine of their next-generation Moloco Commerce Media (MCM) product, aiming to empower organizations to grow and unlock the value of their first-party data through performance advertising powered by machine learning.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software development experience on backend with high exposure to large scale distributed systems
- Excellent software development skills and fluency in at least one server programming language (Go, Java, C, C++, Rust etc.)
- Experience working in Cloud/Big Data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- System Design and development skills; from gathering requirements to design to implementation to testing to production
- Experience working in software development for ad tech
- Experience working closely with ML engineers and/or data scientists
- Experience with API development
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ad serving features that have a direct impact to our customers
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of our back end service
- Work on a sophisticated ad serving application built as a highly distributed system
- Develop new features for our customer exposed APIs, directly impacting customers
- Write server side code that can handle a large amount of traffic coming from world wide
- Build systems on top of a public cloud infrastructure
- Implement and utilize various data structures that fit the need of various applications
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and strategic planning
- Experience working closely with PMs to refine requirements
