INTUITIVE is seeking a Software Engineer/Analyst to support the Short and Intermediate Effectors for Layered Defense Project Office (SHIELD) by advising and assisting the US Government in the development of an interceptor program and its integration onto an existing launcher platform.

- Hands-on experience with Java, C/C++, and/or Python
Responsibilities
- Advise and assist the US Government in the development of an Interceptor Program and Interceptor Integration onto an existing launcher platform.
- Support Multidisciplinary Integrated Product Teams to develop solutions that support developmental and operational goals.
- Coordinate with Government Task Managers and other stakeholders to guide analytic, design, and development efforts, ensuring all deliverables meet mission-critical standards in performance and quality.
- Coordinate within Multidisciplinary Integrated Product Teams to develop solutions that support developmental, test, and operational goals.
- Weapon systems engineering processes and Army weapon system development standards
- Software requirements development, analysis, and compliance verification processes
- Agile software development processes

- BS or BA degree
- 12 years of related experience
- Some travel
- Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
- Serve as technical interface with government customers to define scope, validate analysis, and coordinate tasking.
- Produce and review technical reports, presentations, and briefings for internal and external audiences.
