Otter.ai is looking for an Android Software Engineer to contribute to the development of their Android app, focusing on mobile-first solutions and innovative feature development to stay ahead in the evolving nature of work.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience developing Android apps with Kotlin or Java
- Solid understanding of multi-threading, networking, and memory management on Android devices
- Has a passion to build best-in-class user interfaces on mobile apps
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of our widely-used Android app
- Making significant investments in innovative, mobile-focused feature development
- Enhance our web platform
- Build exciting new features
- Collaborate with Engineers across a variety of domains (Server, Web, iOS)
- Contribute to and maintain an exceptionally high standard of code architecture

- Work cross functionally with amazing PMs and Designers
- Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on feature requirements and technical problems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, advanced degree preferred
