Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience with Release Management.
- Experience with Distributed Systems.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience with Data Science.
- Experience with automation.
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Build server side code to enable safe releases of Android OS components.
- Automate processes to allow the program to scale to dozens of components, thousands of device types, and hundreds of millions of users.
- Work closely with the Android Release Engineering and Play Distribution teams.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
