iSoftStone, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to ongoing applications and take the lead on upcoming initiatives, building scalable solutions in a fast-paced technology heavy environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Proven experience designing and implementing API testing plans, including integration and unit tests
- Strong proficiency with backend development using Java, NodeJS or C++
- Hands-on experience with test frameworks and API testing tools
- Working knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL/KV Stores)
- Experience with shell scripting
- Familiarity with version control systems
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and documentation of a comprehensive testing plan for API interfaces, focusing on both integration and unit test strategies to ensure all functional and interoperability requirements are met.
- Design and develop backend applications hosted on Prem Linux based
- Take ownership of API quality assurance, including test automation and reporting
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on testing strategies with business and technical goals
- Comfortable collaborating in an agile environment, comfortable contributing to both ongoing and upcoming project initiatives
