Requirements
- Experience building technically complex, user-focused featuresespecially in Swift, C++, TypeScript, React, or Chromium-based technologies
- 6+ years of professional engineering experience (excluding internships)
- Have a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences across web, mobile, and desktop
- Experience with modern frameworks
- Experience with industry best practices
- Experience with AI-powered applications
- Experience with web, mobile, and desktop platforms
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with design, product, and research teams to build and refine new features for ChatGPT
- Contribute to architecting and implementing end-to-end solutions that improve usability, scalability, and performance
- Leverage industry best practices and modern frameworks to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Work with a small, senior team of engineers to develop cutting-edge AI-powered applications
- Build scalable, high-performance applications across the frontend and backend
- Develop and optimize ChatGPT for macOS, iOS, and other native platforms
- Enhance and extend ChatGPTs capabilities within Chromium-based browsers and web technologies

- Thrive in ambiguity, communicate clearly and concisely, and are always eager to learn and share knowledge
- Have 6+ years of professional engineering experience (excluding internships)
- Must be based in San Francisco, CA, with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week
