Requirements
- Strong understanding of OS architecture and systems programming fundamentals
- Development experience for iOS and/or macOS
- Development experience with Python
- Background architecting and building data or machine learning platforms
- Proven ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply cutting-edge research into tangible applications
- Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals and experience working throughout the stack
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with teams across Apple on training, qualifying, deploying, and serving models
- designing and refining systems and APIs for Machine Learning and Generative AI
- understanding and adapting new model architectures to constraints of their execution environments
- working with leadership across Apple to define policy
- developing exciting new features across all Apple platforms - iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS, and Private Cloud Compute
- develop and improve unit tests, performance tests, and diagnose and resolve customer reported issues
