Requirements
- Strong understanding of OS architecture and systems programming fundamentals
- Development experience for iOS and/or macOS
- Development experience with Python
- Background architecting and building data or machine learning platforms
- Proven ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply cutting-edge research into tangible applications
- Excellent software design, problem solving and debugging skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with teams across Apple on training, qualifying, deploying, and serving models
- Designing and refining systems and APIs for Machine Learning and Generative AI
- Understanding and adapting new model architectures to constraints of their execution environments
- Working with leadership across Apple to define policy
- Developing and improving unit tests, performance tests, and diagnose and resolve customer reported issues
- Participating in all stages of software development, from new feature design and implementation, to maintenance and bug fixing of released code
- Bringing industry leading research to hundreds of millions of people using Apple products every day
