Requirements
- Architecting and maintaining business intelligent SAP HANA solutions for systems handling over 42TB of in-memory data
- Optimizing data access of complex queries using HANA performance tools including using SQL Plan Cache, Explain Plan, and Performance Trace tools
- Integrating SAP HANA with external systems via SDI, SDA, and ETL tools including SLT
- Architecting high performance HANA database with over 90TB to support largest implementation of S/4 HANA in the world
- Streamlining monitoring and alerts via SAP HANA Studio, SAP Focused Run, and custom Grafana dashboards
- Implementing disaster recovery, backup, and high availability solutions using HANA System Replication
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement and support highly available and scalable enterprise solutions that can match Apple volumes
- Accountable for landscape management, availability and performance of all HANA systems
- Coordinate with different teams in installation, maintenance and upgrades of HANA systems
- Support HANA systems throughout the lifecycle of projects from time to time
- Ensure integrity of HANA databases by designing and applying appropriate security settings
- Involved in proactive database monitoring and performance tuning of large HANA systems
- Troubleshoot problems with connectivity, web services, and overall aspects of the SAP solution
