CHAOS Inc. is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to develop, integrate, and deploy AI/ML-powered capabilities for defense applications, translating advanced AI research into tangible, shippable software for real-world use.
Requirements
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with Pytorch.
- Experience with AI Agents building using Lang chain and Lang graph.
- Experience with Analog or Digital RF signal processing.
- Any exposure to Drone or similar moving targets tracking.
Responsibilities
- drive the development, integration, and deployment of AI/ML-powered capabilities across CHAOS’ product lines.
- ensure advanced AI research translates into tangible, real-world shippable software especially in defense applications.
- creative use of AI and Machine Learning in actual products.
- Ensure our AI models are robust, interpretable, testable, and performant under real-world conditions—especially in adversarial, low-power, gps-denied or edge-deployed environments.
- Learn: Quickly come up to speed browsing related code and documentation that already exists.
- Must be motivated to learn unfamiliar subjects and drive the learning needs.
- Work on-site a minimum of 2 days per week out of our San Francisco office, with 2-4 days per week preferred.
