The financial services industry organization is looking for an Argo Software Engineer to develop, implement, and support critical banking applications and systems, with a focus on the Argo Teller platform and related integrations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in software development with ability to learn Argo systems
- Strong working knowledge of DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, and other relational databases
- experience with SOAP and RESTful web services
- proficiency with shell scripts or Visual Basic
- Experience with traditional client/server architecture and SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
- Minimum 5 years of Argo experience, ideally in Teller platform (particularly Argo Data experience)
- Experience developing interfaces for Argo Teller platform with CAD devices, Check imaging software, Electronic Cash recycler machines
Responsibilities
- Own the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more components of banking environments, applications, or platforms, with particular focus on the Argo Teller 21 application and peripheral integrations (ECR, Check scanners, printers).
- Independently develop clean, maintainable, testable code for assigned work and perform peer code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in maintaining overall system health, performance, and availability while actively working to resolve system and client experience impacts across multiple environments and applications.
- Package and support deployment of releases, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production environments.
- Provide continuous improvement ideas to reduce expenses and improve efficiency while embracing mentorship and training opportunities from senior engineers.
