A global aerospace innovator is seeking to shape how artificial intelligence transforms aerospace systems by developing and deploying advanced AI models that drive smarter, safer, and more efficient flight technologies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, C, or C++; experience with ADA or avionics software a plus.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Google Test, PyTest).
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
- Experience leading or mentoring software engineering teams.
- Education or hands-on experience in AI algorithms or AI tool development.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing environments a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI algorithms and models using industry-standard tools while ensuring ethical, unbiased results.
- Collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets, uncovering patterns and insights that drive model accuracy and reliability.
- Train, evaluate, and optimize AI systems for scalability, performance, and safety in aerospace environments.
- Integrate AI solutions into production environments, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring of performance post-launch.
- Implement automated testing methodologies (e.g., Google Test, PyTest) to maintain quality and consistency in code execution.
- Advance DevSecOps and CI/CD workflows using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD to streamline delivery and testing.
- Research and adopt emerging AI technologies to keep the organization at the forefront of intelligent system design.

- Oversee and mentor a small technical team, providing direction on project milestones and software development best practices.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business requirements and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Must be able to work fully onsite in Cambridge, MA.
