Requirements
- Experience writing software in C++, Python, or Rust
- Good understanding of software development practices and software process
- Experience working on teams using Agile practices
- Experience with Linux, Git, Jira, and DevOps
- Knowledge of and experience with the THAAD Fire Control software
- Experience working with Missile programs
- Security+ Certification
Responsibilities
- Support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery
- Develop software in C++, Python, or Rust
- Coordinate with other groups within Ground Systems to ensure a successful implementation of the software
- Ensure adherence to master plans and schedules
- Support development of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Software within the Ground component as a member of the THAAD Fire Control and Communications (TFCC) Engagement Operations Team
- Function well in a creative, high tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment
- Work with experienced engineers to support the software engineering lifecycle

- Ability to obtain a government security clearance
- Good interpersonal skills and good communication skills, both written and oral

- Ability to work onsite full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility
