The Boeing Company is seeking motivated and talented Software Engineers to join their team in El Segundo, CA, for the design, development, and integration of software products for satellite test and other space applications. The role involves developing and modifying test systems to meet challenging test requirements for business partners and customers.
Requirements
- Experience working in full software development life-cycle
- Experience in software programming with C, C++, C-Sharp, .NET coding, debug and development
- Knowledge of shell scripting languages including Python
- Knowledge of verification requirements, verification plans and test procedures
- Experience in Object Oriented Application Development
- Experience in telemetry and command formats and timing requirements for satellite communication and processing
- Experience with Model-Based Engineering (MBE) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Responsibilities
- Develops code and integrates complex software components into a fully functional system
- Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, execute the test procedures and documents test results to ensure software system requirements are met
- Analyzes and supports factory support issues related to software/hardware integration
- Develop test architecture for software products (Test Executives, T&C Engine, Tools)
- Develops and executes software project and process plans, implements policies and procedures
- Develop new interfaces for new instruments and systems in C, C-Sharp, .net and other object-oriented languages as well as experience in scripting languages Python, TCL, and Linux
- Enhance test case architecture for Bus and RF product testing

- This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Active Top-Secret Security Clearance
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.
