Aurelian aims to reduce hold times and streamline operations to help agencies focus on life-saving emergencies.
Requirements
- Strong experience working with telephony protocols, audio codecs, and data pipelines.
- Proficiency in backend development (Python preferred) and experience building integration bridges between legacy and modern systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-based architectures, real-time audio processing, and handling complex data flows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrations between legacy telephony systems and Aurelian’s cloud platform.
- Optimize the audio processing and metadata pipelines to ensure seamless, reliable data transfer and processing from on-premise systems to the cloud.
- Collaborate closely with customers and technical teams to understand unique system requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve integration and data flow issues in production environments.
- Contribute to the evolution of company architecture, ensuring scalable, mission-critical deployments for public safety.

- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with a focus on systems integration or telephony/audio processing.
