Coinbase is seeking experienced backend engineers to build and design their crypto Card product with a focus on global availability, safety of funds, outstanding reliability and ease of use.
Requirements
- Experience with Card products and built or worked on such a product at scale.
- Designed, built, scaled and maintained production services, and know how to compose a service oriented architecture.
- Experience with Blockchains (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum etc..)
- Experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices.
- Experience with Golang, Postgres, MongoDB.
- Built financial, high reliability or security systems.
- Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity.
Responsibilities
- Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang for our Card program.
- Help articulate a long term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems.
- Work with engineers, designers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
- Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers

- At least 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
