Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Linux development, Android Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) development, device driver development, or camera system development.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with Android development
Responsibilities
- Own the development of new, user-facing video features, guiding them from initial concept to a polished, final product through close collaboration with User Experience (UX), Product Management, and partner teams.
- Lead the architecture and evolution of our core video capture pipeline, creating an extensible foundation that accelerates the development of new features.
- Design and build the essential infrastructure that enables other teams to seamlessly debug, iterate, and launch their own video features on our platform.
- Contribute to our video pipeline to optimize performance, focusing on minimizing latency, reducing power consumption, and conserving memory to ensure an exceptional user experience.
- Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence by actively maintaining and improving our codebase, ensuring it remains efficient and agile for the entire team.
