Verily is looking to build out core CIAM platform capabilities to provide identity management, authentication, and authorization to Verily product teams, aiming to reduce duplication of effort, support a common user experience, accelerate time to market, and drive compliance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience as a software engineer designing, building and managing mission critical applications.
- Familiarity with Identity Management vendor solutions such as Auth0, Ping Identity or Okta.
- Experience in design and implementation of resilient and scalable systems working in a containerized environment.
- Familiarity with a client-side JavaScript framework such as Angular or React.
- Experience operating in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Help build out core CIAM platform capabilities using industry standard protocols and enable easy integration with Verily products.
- Work with product teams to design and implement CIAM features.
- Build a secure, high-throughput developer centric platform for handing IAM with an emphasis on ease of use.
- Establish platform expectations (SLA/SLO/SLI) and associated monitoring, logging and tooling to operate the platform at scale.
- Collaborate with Verily Security to ensure that regulatory and reporting requirements are supported throughout the platform.

- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
- Clear written communication, especially in design and architecture documents.
- Ability to collaborate with distributed teams on a several simultaneous projects.
