Cydecor is looking for Software Engineers to research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs to enable decision-support and remain ahead of ever-evolving national security challenges.
Requirements
- Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting.
- Experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.
- Minimum of 10 years’ software engineering experience supporting Navy C4I.
- Experience with transitioning low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) Information System (IS) technologies (TRL 5 and below) into active and operational DoD C4I systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Update or enhance existing software capabilities.
- Work with other functional disciplines (e.g., project management, acquisition, logistics, security, etc.) to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
- Maintain databases within an application area.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
- 3-10+ years of professional experience with software engineering.
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- Onsite, Monday - Friday, 8 hours each day.
- The projected compensation range for this position is $109,500-202,500.
