Design, develop, and maintain mobile network solutions with a focus on edge computing and advanced mobile network protocols to enhance the capabilities and performance of Army tactical programs.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in software development using Kotlin, Rust, JavaScript, Java, C-Sharp, or C++.
- Strong understanding of mobile network engineering principles and applications.
- Proficiency with Layer 3 and Layer 4 network protocols (Multicast, TCP, UDP, QUIC, NORM, etc.).
- Experience with TrellisWare technologies is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with mobile network technologies (e.g., 4G, 5G, LTE, MANET).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using one or more of the following technologies: Kotlin, Rust, JavaScript, Java, C-Sharp, or C++.
- Design and implement mobile network solutions for edge computing environments.
- Work with Layer 3 and Layer 4 network protocols, including but not limited to Multicast, TCP, UDP, QUIC, and NORM.
- Optimize mobile network performance to ensure reliability and security in varying operational environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and mobile network issues.
- Ensure mobile network solutions comply with security and performance standards.
