Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience with systems infrastructure, C++ programming, or Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud networking, or TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Experience designing or maintaining large-scale infrastructure systems, focusing on concurrency, multithreading, or back-end services.
Responsibilities
- Write high-performance system development code in C++ for the Andromeda On-Host Controller and network virtualization stack.
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies for distributed control planes and next-generation hardware integration.
- Review C++ code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
