Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking to secure its AWS and GCP environments by designing and implementing controls, and is looking for a Sr. Cloud Security Engineer to join its AI-Driven Enterprise (AIDE) team.
Requirements
- Experience in deploying and customizing security tools such as vulnerability scanners, static analysers, SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF/firewalls, pen tests, and endpoint security monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of encryption protocols, secret management, SSO technology, etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform infrastructure.
- Experience with Linux server administration
- Experience with fundamentals of networking
- Experience developing tools with languages like Python or Go
- Experience using CI/CD pipelines for change management and automated security testing.
Responsibilities
- Build out cloud-agnostic security solutions.
- Roll out new technology for cloud-specific security concerns.
- Secure AWS, GCP, Kubernetes/Docker, and Terraform-based infrastructure.
- Secure micro services and the communication between them
- Design strategies around data ingestion and security event detection & protection
- Work with developers on establishing and enforcing secure coding practices.
- Conduct pen tests, vulnerability scans, and web application security scans regularly and drive the remediation of security gaps.
Other
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, and overall industry experience of at least 7 years
- Minimum Required: 5+ years of experience working with a public cloud infrastructure, preferably within AWS/GCP security
- Ability to clearly design and communicate complex solutions and collaborate
- Must be able to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office
- Must be able to manage work and personal needs with flexibility
