Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is seeking a Software Engineer Co-Op to develop cutting-edge software that supports the energy transition and enhances energy management
Requirements
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or C/C++
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
- Exposure to web development frameworks
- Familiarity with databases and SQL
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under the guidance of a mentor
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
- Assist in debugging and troubleshooting software issues
- Contribute to documentation and technical specifications
- Learn and apply best practices in software engineering
