Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on product-facing financial systems preferred
- Strong track record of delivering impactful features and products in fintech, payments, or credit
- Expertise in building, maintaining, and optimizing APIs and data flows for transactional systems
- Familiarity with secure coding practices, compliance requirements, or PCI-related systems is a plus
- Familiarity with functional programming concepts
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features, APIs, and products for OnePay’s credit card platform
- Collaborate with engineers across the organization to ship high-quality code with speed and reliability
- Architect and design scalable, secure systems that support millions of customer transactions
- Build and maintain clear technical documentation to support our growing, distributed team
- Solve complex technical challenges related to payments, money movement, and sensitive financial data at scale
