Requirements
- Proficiency in building and maintaining secure, end-to-end data systems and services
- Hands-on experience with Golang, Python, PostgresDB, and MongoDB
- Strong SQL skills, including writing maintainable queries and understanding advanced functions
- Deep understanding of algorithms and efficient data structures
- Experience working through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Looker, Snowflake, and dbt is a plus
- Experience within the health-tech sector is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy backend data services and API platforms for multiple client-facing applications
- Collaborate with product and analytics teams to enhance data quality, governance, and security
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Golang and Python
- Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes for performance and reliability
- Document data systems, workflows, and processes comprehensively
- Integrate diverse data sources including core applications, CRM, inventory systems, and more
- Develop validation frameworks, monitor results, and iteratively improve data processes
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software development with a focus on data engineering
- Excellent critical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Strong ownership mentality, capable of managing core logic of mission-critical systems
