Jenius Bank, a division of SMBC MANUBANK, is building a completely new, 100% digital bank from scratch and is looking to scale up its portfolio of products and build extraordinary experiences. The company needs to develop data platforms to support its products and analytics initiatives.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
- Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows.
- Solid understanding of data engineering practices, including ETL/ELT, data modeling, and pipeline design.
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and columnar databases.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow is preferred.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices in a data engineering context
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and Airflow to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, especially within cloud environments.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data.
- Maintain and enhance existing ETL/ELT processes, ensuring they align with best practices and business needs.
- Document data engineering processes and architecture to support knowledge sharing and maintainability.
