Requirements
- Experience with databases and data infrastructure, either from work or school projects.
- Experience in big-data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Presto, Kafka, Flink.
- Experience improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources.
- Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain and optimize data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
- Bring your expertise to help model structured & unstructured data.
- Own these data models and be a data POC across teams.
- Collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers to understand data needs and drive key data infrastructure decisions across application teams.
Other
- Be a team player and a mentor with strong communication skills.
- 3+ years of experience in a fast paced, high growth tech environment is preferred.
