Radiant is seeking a Software Engineer to architect and build data pipelines for analysis and simulation, enabling faster interrogation of simulation results and analysis on hardware design iterations. This role is critical for bridging internal and third-party analysis tools with hardware and software design teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python, C++, C, or similar object-oriented programming languages
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines for hardware analysis (or AI/ML workflows or other distributed data processing systems)
- Database selection and design experience (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Bigquery)
- Familiarity with common orchestration systems and job runners (Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Airflow)
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and common CI/CD frameworks
- Experience with distributed software development and familiarity with common design patterns
Responsibilities
- Architect data platforms and pipelines to support design analysis
- Design, build, and maintain batch and streaming ETL pipelines
- Own data review products end-to-end, start by gathering requirements and see projects through to delivery and continuous improvement
- Scope and guide the development of front-end features, implement data visualizations and dashboards solo and in collaboration with other front-end engineers

- Ability to work from Radiant’s office in El Segundo, CA (greater Los Angeles) full-time
- Highly self-motivated with strong communication skills
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to accomplish our mission.
- Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ.
