Visionist has an exciting new, fully FUNDED opportunity for a Software Engineer with a focus on Dataflow on our largest PRIME contract. Our team of Analysts and Engineers is motivated by the direct impact on the mission, crafting specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for our operations user base.
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing dataflow pipelines
- Experience with data engineering platforms, including Apache NiFi
- Experience working with customer cross-domain solutions
- Familiarity with containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Development experience in a Linux environment
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
Responsibilities
- Provide dataflow expertise through development, optimization, and process improvement
- Enhance and expand health monitoring tools and dashboards
- Collect and analyze metrics from applications, hardware, and network appliances using open source and proprietary software
- Communicate effectively with customers, gathering feedback on project status, progress, and results
Other
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 12 years of experience in software development
- U.S citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible).
