Planet is looking for a full-stack software engineer to build systems and integrate with their federal customers, specifically focusing on developing a next-generation integration platform to drive future growth and provide customers with faster access to Planet's datasets.
Requirements
- 4+ years industry experience
- Fluency in Golang, Python, Postgresql, & React or related technologies
- Full stack application development experience (Database, Services, Web)
- Experience building orchestration workflows preferably with Temporal (temporal.io)
- Experience with maintaining infrastructure-in-code
- Experience with logging, alerting, and monitoring tools to support system quality
- Current and active TS/SCI clearance
Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire engineering lifecycle, from concept to implementation
- Ownership of the quality and availability of mission systems
- Contribute to the improvement of our architecture, infrastructure, and processes
Other
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adjust on the fly to customer needs
- Experience building systems with many integrations
- Experience with geospatial technologies and data

- This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. If located near an office, you are expected to work from that office 3 days per week.
