Boeing is seeking Software Engineers to support the development and testing of complex software for the PAC-3 (Patriot Advanced Capability 3) missile defense system.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with programming with C, C++, Python and/or shell scripts
- Operating system knowledge of LINUX or Windows
- Experience with missile defense sensor algorithms or algorithms for digital signal processing
- Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices
- Experience with instituting and maintaining DevSecOps practices and processes
- Experience with real-time operating systems, e.g. VxWorks
- Some work experience or knowledge of telemetry protocols and testing
Responsibilities
- Develop, document and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products
- Develop, test and maintain software for PAC-3 systems
- Develop technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings in support of program requirements
- Work in small agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills
- Debug and resolve issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products

- Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance-Final Post-Start
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Less than 5% of the time travel
