The Boeing Company is seeking a DevSecOps Software Engineer to optimize DevSecOps infrastructure, deploy and manage multi-cluster environments, troubleshoot issues, and perform cost analysis for safety-critical software.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in development frameworks, cloud native technologies and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, UML, Java, .Net, Docker, Kubernetes, JavaScript, AWS/Azure Cloud
- 3+ years of experience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain (Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience with Python scripting
- Experience with software development in a collaborative team environment using agile principles and structured development process including code reviews and automated DevOps processes/tools
- Experience with: GITLAB, Jenkins, Kubernetes, AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Docker
- Experience with GIT/SCM Principles
- Software Development Environment Administration (Dependency Management, Pypi, Conda, etc…)
Responsibilities
- Develop, document and maintain standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software
- Automate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot across software engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls
- Analyze, plan, and execute mitigation strategies to prevent potential security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities
- Implement an environment that enables high levels of quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization
- Support collaboration with cross functional teams to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software engineering systems
- Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulations in the software engineering DevSecOps environment
