Design, development, and deployment of solutions using the Elastic Stack within Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
Requirements
- Extensive experience deploying and managing Elastic Stack technologies in DoD or federal environments.
- Strong proficiency with Apache Kafka, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with advanced Elastic Stack features (machine learning, alerting, and monitoring).
- Prior exposure to cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) in secure DoD deployments.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and secure software development practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Elastic Stack solutions (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats) in support of DoD applications and operations.
- Implement, maintain, and optimize real-time data ingestion pipelines using Kafka and other streaming technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate containerized solutions in secure, mission-critical environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance, ensuring adherence to DoD security protocols and best practices.
- Participate in technical planning, architecture design, and system documentation to support long-term operational goals.
- Provide expert guidance on the deployment and scaling of Elastic Stack solutions across multiple environments.
