HII's Mission Technologies division is seeking to modernize and integrate the Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) Exercise Control System (JECS) by developing a modern, web-enabled interface via the Joint Training Tool (JTT) UI, enhancing distributed access and operational capability across JLVC exercises, and supporting distributed simulation and event control across DoD and Joint environments.
Requirements
- Experience with Java, C++, or C-Sharp development in Linux and/or Windows environments.
- Exposure to web development frameworks
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end interfaces.
- Familiarity with simulation systems, military training systems, or distributed computing is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of High-Level Architecture (HLA) or DIS (Distributed Interactive Simulation) standards is desirable.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Learn and apply federation technologies including HLA (High Level Architecture) and support M&S integration.
Responsibilities
- Participate in software development and integration efforts supporting JECS modernization, particularly UI and backend interfaces between JECS and JTT.
- Support integration of JAWS (JLVC Analysis WorkStation) functionality into the JTT Execution Map UI.
- Assist in the transition from multiple standalone JECS applications to a unified, distributed-access platform.
- Conduct code development, debugging, unit testing, and version control under Agile or hybrid development methodologies.
- Perform software documentation and contribute to design reviews, sprint planning, and technical reporting.
- Support troubleshooting and event control activities during live JLVC exercises.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of hybrid architectures interfacing with JMECS for C4I System stimulation.
