Requirements
- Foundational experience or coursework in backend software development, with proficiency in Golang, Python, or similar languages
- Comfortable working with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (Redis, DynamoDB, etc.) databases
- Exposure to cloud computing principles and services (especially AWS)
- An interest in shared service or platform engineering and how infrastructure supports large-scale systems
- Familiarity with Git, modern development workflows, and CI/CD principles
- Service discovery, caching strategies, and configuration management
- Observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other engineers to design, implement, and test core framework components that power multiple products and services
- Learn and contribute to scalable service architecture patterns and shared infrastructure best practices
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Golang, Python, or similar programming languages
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning as part of an Agile development team
- Help maintain and improve internal libraries and services to promote consistency and reliability across engineering teams
- Troubleshoot and support production systems with a focus on learning from incidents and improving reliability
- Continuously grow your knowledge of cloud-native engineering (AWS), container orchestration, CI/CD, observability, and developer tooling

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and ask thoughtful questions
