Nextdoor is looking to improve the architecture, usability, and reliability of their engineering ecosystem by hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to contribute to the development and improvement of frameworks and product areas, and collaborate with multiple teams, stakeholders, and peers.
Requirements
- Expertise in modern React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux / Recoil, Jest, and CSS
- Experience with CI/CD systems and testing frameworks is a plus
- Experience within the AWS ecosystem is preferred
- Ability to design and implement heavily used services and systems
- Expertise in at least one server-side web application language is a plus. Python/Django, Java, Kotlin, mobile development, and/or SQL experience is a plus
- Knowledge about GraphQL (Apollo / Relay), accessibility, internationalization, running online A/B experiments is a plus
