Zapier's Revenue Zone needs to build and evolve the infrastructure behind product payments, including billing, payments, plan selection, and usage tracking, to ensure these experiences are effortless, transparent, and trustworthy for millions of global businesses.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production web applications
- Strong knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript and React, with experience building responsive interfaces
- Solid experience building backend APIs with Python (Django preferred)
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud environments like AWS
- Experience integrating with payment systems, third-party APIs, or billing platforms is a plus
- You’ve used AI tooling for work or personal use—or you are willing to dive in and learn fast.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain pricing and plan selection UIs
- Develop backend services that manage subscriptions, usage tracking, and payment flows
- Collaborate with design, product, and data to deliver performant, user-centered experiences
- Work across the stack to modernize legacy systems and improve platform scalability
- Help define new interfaces between systems — e.g., billing APIs, pricing engines, entitlements, plan change workflows
