Requirements
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- Experience with low-level Android development.
- Experience in Android development, operating systems, or low-level system software/device driver/HAL development.
- Experience developing and debugging embedded systems.
- Experience in design, development, testing, and deployment for Android BSPs.
Responsibilities
- Solve integration issues between Fuchsia and Android, drive technical solutions and influence the technical direction of the integration efforts.
- Debug and resolve software integration issues across Fuchsia and Android.
- Optimize, measure, track, and improve software quality, including system stability, power consumption, and system performance to deliver a positive end user experience.
- Identify user experience impacting issues, take ownership solutions, and drive to completion.
- Work cross-organizationally and cross-functionally with Technical Program Managers, and Product Managers to deliver impact.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience in productizing and shipping consumer-facing products.
- Excellent problem-solving, investigative, and troubleshooting skills.
