Gecko Robotics is looking to solve the problem of ensuring the availability, reliability, and sustainability of critical infrastructure by providing solutions that combine robots, sensors, and an AI-powered data platform. The software team specifically aims to reduce the time and labor required to process raw sensor data into a verified and human-interpretable data asset, enabling Gecko to scale its business.
Requirements
- Expertise in writing clean, maintainable code for a production environment
- Experience designing secure, user-friendly APIs that enable intuitive data interaction and application development
- Ability to develop full stack features in pursuit of solving end to end problems for the business
- Real world experience building, maintaining, and replacing data infrastructure
- Experience working with signal processing algorithms
- Understanding of data pipelines and data processing infrastructure
- Minimum of 5 years (or preferably more!) of hands on development in a production environment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship features that help automate the process of validating ultrasonic signal data and classifying damage mechanisms such as cracking, corrosion, or pitting.
- Work closely with users who are validating and interpreting the ultrasonic signal data coming off the robots.
- Collaborate with our Machine Learning engineers as we improve our ML and signal processing algorithms to reduce the time and human effort needed to validate data.
- Develop new features and components of the system in a full stack capacity.
- Build the infrastructure, data pipelines, and applications that turn the raw sensor data coming off the robots into a verified and human-interpretable data asset for our customers.
