Requirements
- Strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design building scalable web applications and backend services
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, such as version control, testing, and continuous integration
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go, C-Sharp, etc.)
- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience in relational schema design and SQL
- Familiarity with Shift Left and test automation
- Experience with generative AI, machine learning, and predictive algorithms
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly resilient, scalable, and performant solutions that solve complex healthcare problems using VueJS, NodeJS, Java, Python, AWS and more.
- Participate in technical and product discussions with leaders across our engineering, product, and business teams.
- Self-reliance, without supervision, while showcasing best design/communication/solution practices in daily works.
- Ensure continuously improve our standard of engineering excellence
Other
- BS in Computer Science or related area
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership; proactively identifies opportunities, takes initiative without being asked, and follows through with persistence.
- Travel to and from company headquarters in Austin, Texas is required for new hire orientation, onboarding and occasional company meetings
