Visionist has an exciting new opportunity for a Software Engineer with a Full Stack/DevOps focus on our largest PRIME contract. Our team of Analysts and Engineers is motivated by the direct impact on the mission, crafting specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for our operations user base.
Requirements
- Experience with the following: Python, Django, SQL, Ansible, Git, Linux, Redis, and Nginx
- Basic experience working in Linux environments
- Experience running and troubleshooting servers
- Experience interacting directly with customers
Responsibilities
- Develop python applications to perform user and data management
- Develop ansible playbooks to deploy and upkeep upwards of 50 servers
- Adapt the platform as mission requirements progress
- Elicit requirements and feedback directly from users
- Assist users in utilizing the platform and aid development of their own script and process development
Other
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance With Polygraph Is Required.
- Collaborate within a cross functional team
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 8 years of experience in software development
- U.S citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible). Applicants selected will be required to obtain / maintain a government security clearance.
