Comcast is looking to solve the problem of continuously monitoring the CM/CMTS network and proactively detecting a diverse set of RF impairments using the XM Edge software platform.
Requirements
- Proficiency in back-end language, Java
- Strong skills in JavaScript and Angular front end framework
- Experience with relational and NOSQL databases
- Familiar with AWS cloud services
- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker
- Familiarity with GraphQL or event driven systems
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and deploy full stack applications
- Build and consume REST APIs and integrations with external services
- Implement user-facing features with modern framework ( React, Angular)
- Collaborate with senior engineers, SRE engineers and other stakeholders
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, reviews, and best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and team planning sessions
Other
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Must be willing to work on-site collaborating unless the team has been designated as virtual due to the nature of their work
